About Apeiron Productions
Managing Director and Visual Effects Supervisor, George Zwier is an award winning supervisor with over 15 years experience in film visual effects.
He is the Visual Effects Society's recipient of the Best Composting in a Motion Picture award for his work on the film Inception, and winner of the NZFTA award for Best Visual Effects for The Dead Lands.
George has contributed to the world's leading visual effects facilities including, Industrial Light and Magic, Weta Digital and Double Negative on projects such as The Dark Knight series, The Hobbit and Pacific Rim.
George served as VFX Supervisor to Mike Leigh on Mr Turner, helping recreate the famous J.M.W. Turner painting, The Fighting Temeraire. His hidden effects work on BBC drama Wolf Hall has also been widely praised. Upcoming projects include Michael Apted's Unlocked and Toa Fraser's Six Days about the 1980 Iranian Embassy siege.
